Completely renovated in April 2015, Milan Malpensa is now a more welcoming, efficient airport. The wide-ranging restyling project improved the practicality and appearance of all check-in, departures and security areas. It also saw the creation of a new commercial platform, one of the biggest in Europe: the 23,000 m2 space boasts over 100 stores. The airport operates with two passenger terminals and a cargo terminal.

Getting around

Thanks to the renovation of Terminal 1, you can now soak up the atmosphere of Milan’s most exclusive shopping district. With “Piazza del Lusso”, “Piazza del Gusto”, “Piazza del Pop” and the brand-new Duty Free Shop to choose from, passengers can browse the cream of luxury and fashion, take advantage of the best offers around and taste some of Italy’s delicious gastronomic offerings in a setting where the potential for shopping never runs dry. Most of the shops are located on the first floor of the terminal, and the second floor is intended for check-in procedures. There is a children's playground on the third floor. The terminal also contains cash machines, exchange offices, post and bank offices. The Milan Malpensa Terminal 2 has 25 bars and restaurants, a pharmacy, newsstands and a few fashion shops.
