Treviso Airport (Treviso-Sant'Angelo Airport) is part of the Venice Airport System and visited every year by more than two million passengers. It is about 20 kilometers away from Venice Marco Polo Airport. Two airline companies, Ryanair and Wizz Air, offer flights to and from 38 destinations across Europe.
Treviso Airport is a small airport that consists of only one terminal. The ground floor includes the Arrivals area, while the Departures area is located on the first floor, accessible by a stairway. There are a bar and an exchange office on the ground floor. In front of the Security Control Gates on the first floor, passengers can enjoy a meal at a restaurant or visit a bank and another exchange office. When you pass through Security Control, you can also visit a newsstand, a book shop, a Venice souvenir shop and a coffee bar. Most of the shops and bars are open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Unfortunately, there is no Wi-Fi network at the airport.
How to reach the airport and where to park
Treviso Airport is located on the edge of Treviso city and about 20 kilometers north of Marco Polo Airport. If you are driving from Trieste on the A4 highway, take the Meolo/Roncade exit. You then have a 20-minute drive to the airport on regional roads. Be careful, there are not many signposts for Treviso Airport along the way. If you are driving from Milan, take the Martellago/Scorzè exit on the A4 highway and you will arrive at the airport about 20 minutes later. You can also travel to Treviso by train, but the railway station is located in the city centre and you will need to organize an additional transfer to the airport. There are plenty covered and open-air parking spaces near Treviso Airport. A weekly parking fee on the furthest parking lot will cost you EUR 42, while the closest parking space will cost you up to EUR 182.
When to arrive at the airport
Even though Treviso Airport is rather small, it is quite busy. For domestic flights, you should report to the check-in area at least 1 hour before take-off. For international departures, you should arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before your flight.
After your plane has landed you will see your GoOpti van on the parking area accros the street from the airport building. While you are already sitting comfortably in your seat the friendly GoOpti driver will take care of your luggage.
The GoOpti driver will drop you off at the parking area across the street from the airport building. Just a few steps later you will be taking the stairway to the first floor and start your airport procedures.
