Zagreb Pleso Airport
Zagreb Airport is located 12 kilometers from Zagreb city center and it is the biggest Croatian airport with international connections to most of the European countries, Middle East and the Arabian Peninsula. There are 17 airline companies flying from Zagreb Airport to 35 destinations. More than 2.5 million passengers travel through the airport every year.
Getting around
Zagreb Airport has one terminal that is used for national and international flights. The ground floor consists of both the Arrivals and the Departures areas. Passengers can visit a coffee shop, a bar, Duty Free Shop, a souvenirs shop, a newsstand, a bank, an exchange office, a cash machine, a children's playground and a tourist info office on the ground floor. The first floor welcomes you with a restaurant, a coffee shop and business lounges.
Wi-Fi
Zagreb Airport offers its visitors an Internet corner, a place in the passenger building where passengers can access the Internet for a fee. There is also the Free_Public_WIFI connection which offers 15 minutes of free wireless Internet, and passengers can use this service further if they buy a voucher or purchase extra minutes with a credit card. Each additional hour of Wi-Fi through the Free_Public_WIFI connection will cost you almost EUR 5.
How to reach the airport and where to park
If you are driving from Ljubljana, Split or Rijeka, you should leave the highway at the D230 exit and drive towards the D408 road heading towards Velika Gorica. Follow Zagrebačka ulica and turn left to Ulica Rudolfa Fizira, then follow the signposts for Zagreb Airport. There are 650 parking spaces at the airport and the weekly parking fee is EUR 73.
When to arrive at the airport
If you are flying to a Croatian city, an hour and a half should be more than enough for all the airport procedures. If you are taking an international flight, do make sure to arrive at the airport at least two hours prior to your scheduled flight.
